had a hiking trip from mac ritchie to bukit timah hill on sat. thank god for the Awesome weather!! our first outing for the year and i think its quite successful. often in times we look out for numbers and even before the executing of the outing, if the number don't match with our own expectation, then chances are that the outing will be called off. however, lately i was thinking through and i realised that i forgot what was the objective of organising an outing. is it for me to have fun or is it for me to get to know the cg better. if so, even if there is only 3 pple who can go, the outing should stay carry on because objective can still be met.

i always wanted to maximise my weekend especially when i got stuck on pulau ntu for the entire wkend. there are of cuz exceptional cases like last week when i will travel out of school to have fun but that's quite rare. in any case, i wanted to cancel the outing if its just 4 pple. i felt that time would be more well spent if i stayed at home and mug, so i smsed those who could make it and gave them the choice. well, good thing we went ahead. hiking was quite interesting because when there's nothing else to do apart from walking forward, we talked.
