i have been trying to get as many duties as possible since everyone is like having exams. the thing is this, i did 4 duties this month, one in which will be due this monday so ya. my sgt major decided to be nice and that he asked me to do only 2 duties in the month of oct. after the series of events that happened this week, i dun think i can get away with 2. here's y:
1) wednesday afternoon, i was slacking outside the platoon store, fixing up some cables and making it into one long cable with alot of outlets. it was kinda brainless work so my friend who pitied me, lent me his mp3 player to listen to. when i reached the sound track by dunno who (because of u i'll nv stray too far from the sidewalk...), my sgt major caught came to me and stood there. i didn't know he came cause i was drawn quite deeply into a conversation with pei ghim regarding his girlfriend. anyway, he just stood there and since i knew i was doing work, eventhough its hard to believe that i am actually doing something, i ignored him. then, he asked me this million dollar question: is that a media storage device? that really got me, i thought he was looking at the cable and not the "radio" so ya, i just gave a yes and put it away discreetly. the next thing i know, i was called into the office to explain to him the reason y i brought it to camp. since i dun wanna sabo my friend who lent me his mp3 player, i just kept quiet and goes i'm sorry.. obviously with a very apologetic look on my face and facing down, addressing him as Sir. that works everytime. heh
2) we had happy hours today, meaning that we have a buffet plus free drinks at the specialist mess. the food today was fantastic. grilled lamb, rojak, chocolate fondue (with the fountain of chocolate), siew mai, lemon chicken, ice cream. all of us took like a few mountains of food and went over to the sofa which we reserved since we were the first few people to get there. as today was a friday, everyone was unwilling to stay for too long, thus, after like 7pm, one by one we went back to our bunks to get our bags. since we couldn't book out, we decided to just go to our own mess to watch silent hill together. unfortunately, we disappeared for too long and sgt major decided to call the cos to get us back. then, we got a lecture outside the spec mess but managed to get away without any punishment.
so ya, as u can see, this week i got into quite alot of trouble. the funny thing is this, after we got scolded, the rest of the sgts decided to leave so sgt major got quite annoyed but he couldn't stop us so he was left alone at the mess. hah..
this morning we had battalion run, he was quite refreshing and erm one particular officer cheated. it was kinda obvious because i was leading the whole run together with my ran. if i remember correctly, there wasn;t anyone ahead of me and no one went pass me, so how that officer reach the finishing line earlier than me. hohohoh. i obviously wasn;t dumb enough to expose him, it was to my advantage. heh. anyway, the battalion asked this PTI to coach us on how to pass our ippt. it was qutie stupid because the only thing he did was to tell us which muscle group we use when we do each individual stations. the fun part of the run was the cooling down and the warming up. i was fooling around with sean, singing the song 'jimmy gets high' by daniel powter. we imitated the high pitch but couldn;t reach it so ya, it came out really bad. then, it was jumping jacks with alot of pattern. as the pace gets faster, we couldn't catch up so both of us ended up dancing behind. the rest of the specs were doing the techno beat while we try to dance to the beat. my men were all in front so they didn;t know what was happening. heh, screw those who claim that sgts are boring people who don't know how to have fun. my company happened to have all the crazy people, like me. woootttt...
oh ya, sgt major was late today. we nicknamed him wolverine cuz of his hairdo everytime he wakes up in the morning. there was once in the office, we were trying to smoke him and giving all sort of excuses regarding our long hair, saying like we were born with puffy hair. then, he grabbed both side of his hair and pulled it up and said it with pride: 'ME TOO!!" this was it man, i ran out of the office and laughed. sometimes people are just not aware of what;s going on especially when its about themselves. my sgt major was seriously clueless and sean who happened to be there, just told him that i got stomachache.

hey peeps, i think i got a singlet tan. that sucks. we had to paint our vehicles for one entire afternoon. i tried slacking off at different times but still got the mark of hardwork. we were given alot of brushes and 10 pails of paint to finish up 6 vehicles. that really sucks. it took us like 5 hrs to finish it. so now, we still have like 15 vehicles left to paint.
peng kiat was trying to paint me instead of the vehicle. he got my arms and legs but (there's always a catch in this kinda things.. heh), i painted his body. and thus, we are even. (:
went upstairs to the cso bunk to play scrabble for around 1 hr plus before realising that everyone was doing work, even the officers. jenson found out about it cuz he tried to find me in the office, the bunk and all the possible places. from this, he concluded that i went up to their bunk to sleep. heh, i reckoned that he might be the only one who knows that i am slacking most of the time. i tried to proof him wrong but no point la, i was indeed guilty of being a sloth.
after csm gave us half an hour of canteen break, i ran past the new batch of spec and csos since they have to march to the canteen. this was to avoid a long queue. they felt like crap obviously cuz i easily went pass them and there's nothing they could do about it. haha, i'm can be quite a bastard sometimes.
exercise cut earlier than expected. i was smart enough to bathe first while waiting for them to tear down their vehicles. by the time they are done, i already signed the book in/book out book. after last parade, i saw staff kelly walking pass and thus i shouted across the parade square and asked for a lift home. staff obviously agreed, and i could sense the pH lvl of the surrounding changes drastically.
i rushed of to church soon after that, don't even have time to go home to put down my stuff. wanted to skip tm cuz i was really tired but decided not to since i got a feeling that shukun needed help. didn't go for cgl meeting cuz i was really very tired. instead, went for dinner with eliel seth sherwyn elisha. met daniel and eugene at scissors rice stall. daniel invited me over to his place for stayover since i ask him to watch "goal!" with me.
we played soccer before retreating to his palce. the cat high guys were already there, a total of 9 of them. i helped them to even out so ya. played as a goal keeper most of the time cuz i got like 4 blisters after 10 mins. this was really great. i didn;t have to run much and had plenty of opportunities to rest.
didn;t managed to watch the show in the end cuz it was too late. we went to loke's room to talk cock. it was quite a refreshing experience talking about something that i didn't expect daniel to initiate... girls. this lasted for quite awhile before we decided to sleep. i wasn't given any blanket or pillow. daniel used his blanket to cover his feet for less than 10 mins before he slept on the blanket, making it impossible for me to just kop it from him. on the other hand, i was tired, sleepy but could get to sleep cuz it was rather cold. this was quite retarded and thank goodness i managed to get some sleep in the end. u know what, weariness can nullify the effects of cold or whatever crap that u are feeling. when u are tired, u just sleep uncontrollably. heh, the wonders of the human body.

i can't believe i actually spent one whole day slacking at home, watching some anime about the holy grail. in that show, the holy grail is regarded as a wish granter. whoever possess that thing can have one wish or perhaps more than one. it sounds kinda logical until near the end of the show. it is revealed that the holy grail is an object of destruction. the wish is granted only when it destroys something.
this is so retarded. there are so many people who are against christianity. it's not as though we have different color skin or eyes or whatever. the only difference between us is that we have hope for the future, afterlife.
anyway, need to go back camp alr. finally. lol. be out on thursday night. adious~~

i've just got home from everywhere, anywhere since i last booked out. its been quite exciting, these past two days, in fact 3, including today.
thanks to all who helped me in the morning for the marinating of chicken wings, namely ivena and wanqing. thanks for taking leave and waking up early just to help me with the food. to joel chong, i would have been able to be there on time if not for ur kind offer to drive me there. actually i asked u for help but its a good thing that u didn't turn me down. heh
heroes of the day would be sherwyn and whoever who helped to start the fire. not forgetting people who helped to block the wind and those who set up the tents. from the bbq, i noted a few must-invite-for-bbq wannabes who made this occasion a smooth and enjoyable one.
renzi and zhenghui kris and a few others who cooked for us for the longest period of time. i just want to assure u that u guys are not forgotten and if not for u, it would not have been possible for me to go around and entertain people with ease.
oh yea, the presents from u guys rock. i have a new birkenstock thanks to my gang, D6. its not exactly d6 now but yea, u know who im referring to rite??
maria and avelyn got me a fm radio which is packaged into this fluffy soccer ball. i've just hugged it and its kind of comfortable. and yes, i will definitely bring it to camp since i need something to entertain me at night.
seth and gang got me this book ' finding the right woman for u' and some cards that teaches me how to say i love u in a creative way. hmm.. i guess its good to re-think who kinda girl will suit me the best since im entering adulthood. ah, that sucks but hey, i can get married now if that's what u guys are implying. hohoho. about the i love u thingy, its kinda mushy and to a certain extend unnecessary but i know that it matters to a girl alot. it gives confirmation assurance and perhaps security??
jem bry and some other creatures got me pink socks and foundation. for the pink socks, thanks for telling me that its unisex if not i'll never wear it. but then again, even if u did tell me, u have successfully increase the chance of me wear by 0.1%. as for the foundation, i'll probably wear it just to scare people.... nah!!
i've got 4 other books related to spiritual growth and how to be a good leader. some of the books i eyed for quite awhile already and yes, i finally owned them. its good to have something more meaningful to do in camp than playing pokemon. and if u are curious, my pokemon are like lvl 50 alr. quite cool rite. pokemon.. gotta catch them all. if u want to listen to the song we sang during the bbq, can check out ivan's blog. he posted it in youtube.
looking at the shirt that my cg bought for me, its a white ripcurl shirt. its font is really attractive. will wear it soon on a saturday. edmund and gang bought me another shirt, i wore it during the cap's ball last sat. its super comfortable.
u know the best thing about birthday is the birthday cards. according to chrystal, guys like to deny the fact that they like receiving birthday cards but right now, i am telling whoever reading this blog that i like them. (:
haven got time to read the cards yet. i shall do that after i bathe. need to make sure that i am awake and fresh before i read them. hohoh. my hands are really smelly now, just ate crabs. its a good thing i went home for dinner. i can't believing im still typing. hopefully the smell won't contaminate my laptop. oh ya, my bro got himself a lg laptop from comex just before they picked me up at from bry's place.
