phew! i've just returned from rollerblading with chrystal. we attempted to get lost somewhere along the stretch of terraces along bartlet road. it took us 1/2 hour to travel to bishan-toa payoh region and from there, we tried to find our way back. i was rather prepared and made chrytal prepare herself too. we equipped ourselves with 2 cans of 100 plus. in addition to that, i bought another bottle of mineral water in my waist pouch in case we took more than the expected time to find our way back.
the slopes inside were quite extreme. its either a straight road or a steep slope. not much cars in there, i suppose that to be able to have such nice houses, u got to work really hard for it. there were alot of dogs in which most of them were asleep. i tried to locate the great dane but it was yet another failed attempt. we didn't really explore the entire region cuz chrystal just recovered from her injury and haven't been biking for years. well, i suppose we can go training more often. i wanted to ask nicholas and bryan to tag along but they were uncontactable. i forgot that they got school. oh ya, just to clarify, i didn't AWOL (away without official leave). yesterday we had AHM at suntec, thus today is a battalion off. it rocks, i know.
so, going up the hill sucks but down the hill is rewarding. it wasn't so much for me tho, cuz i wore a new blades and i didn;t wanna spoil my wheels so fast. i had to use the amateurish heel brake while going down and yes, i can assure u that it's not helpful at all. maybe it does but at a minimal level. going down for my dear friend was as easy as holding her hand tighter but as for going up, she simply got off the bike and started pushing. that was erm, thought provoking. heh. no offense to u. (:
after travelling for 1 hr plus, we went back to church to get some drinks. met the friendly indian man who happens to be working. we didn't really talk to him much for obvious reasons. for people who are senile and not being able to guess what's he's doing, let me just repeat myself, he's working. yup..
our last stop was at chrystal's place. was there playing with her dog till her parents came home. it was really funny as in we played fetch. i delibrately threw the ball at the wall and with a good timing, tasha will slide and bite the wall but at the same time, it didn't have time to break so it went bhammmm, against the wall. that was classic!! i tried to do it another few more times in order to capture a good video of her but yea, i failed!! afterawhile i gave up, before chrystal accuse me of trying to kill her dog.
on the couch, tasha sat beside me with her head facing the tv. chrystal covered her face with her palm and shook it. tasha tried to bite her and chrystal confused her by moving her hands to and fro. when tasha's distracted, chrystal will press tasha's head on the couch gently. it was kinda fun, maybe i'll try that on angel next time when i go to bry's house.
anyway, i bought a 6 men tent from carrefour, prepared to camp at ecp. anyone interested to stayover with me?? message me ya.

this is like one of the busiest week i had so far. this time round, it wasn't cramped up with alot of outfield exercises, but rather another task given to me by my 2ic. i was made to calculate some stuff in which requires quite alot of time and skill. my 21c kindly called up signals institude to ask if there's any recommendations to finish this shit and ya, it so happen that it landed on me. ahhh. i spent the next 3 days in the office from 8am to 9pm drawing graphs and tabulating results. i kinda feel superior at first as i am working directly under the 2ic but after awhile, i feel very stupid for being used like that.
amongst all this crappy stuff, two interesting things happened in camp. firstly, the she-dog finally gave birth to 7 puppies. they are all staying under the bridge of the MSVP. i went there to visit once and they are super adorable. the best thing about them is that they look clean and doesn't bark. in fact, they could hardly walk properly. i didn't stay there for long cuz of the mozzies in that area. my platoon wanted to bring it back to the company line but my CSM, code name wolverine rejected our idea of setting up a small portion of land for the 1 or 2 puppies we chose out of the 7. its like giving the puppies a chance to be transformed from a beggar to a princess. the story of cinderalla. haha. i'm getting more crappy.
the second interesting stuff that happened on a tuesday night. everyone was up late. we ordered macs in to camp and decided to put some rat traps after two cupboards got mobbed. since the fries were kinda cold and stiff, we decided to use it as bait. the mouse trap was placed beside jensen's bed and half an hour after the lights were off, we caught one small little rat. it took us 2 hrs to be able to have the courage to drown it. justin simply threw the rat trap to a pail and drown it but the rat was smart, able to make use of the small gaps to breathe. it took us like 1 hr just to kill it. after which, we set up another two more before going to bed. in between the killing of the first rat, the mother rat was found on the curtain looking at us. at first we didn't notice cuz its dark and i was really sleepy. then one of my friends shouted, "can u all hear the rats squeaking?" then everyone was like oh ya. they tried turning off the fans and observed again. after which, we started our second phase of rat hunt in the bunk and that's how we discovered the spidey rat, hanging on the curtain. the tail was retardedly long and no one dare to go close to it so we took like brooms and sticks and all sort of stuff for self defence. it didn't work la and we made hell lot of noise, enough to wake wolverine up again. he simply poked the rat with the broom and it vanished before we even know it. it must have went to alot of training to be able to do that. unfortunately, the mother rat failed to impart her skills to her kids. in the morning, 2 more small rats got caught and i was forced to dispose it off. ahhh. i felt super guilty for the entire morning. its a good thing that the feeling of guilt faded of faster than i thought it would linger within me.

whee. i managed to take leave from friday (1st sept) to monday (4th sept) and friday (8th sept). thinking of having a bbq for my birthday and camp on the beach at east coast. anyone free on friday( 1st sept)?

they were suppose to have a cg outing but i was invited by amiel as well. his new house is erm, well, lets just say that i prefer his old house. having stairs around is troublesome. heh.
before i went to amiel's house, was at bryan's cuz of the stayover. we played playstation all the way from 9 plus till 1am before we sort of stopped to rest or play cards. that did not happen of cuz. i was too tired to really feel like playing cards so we ended up sharing some funny stuff. actually it was one sided sharing but still, it was cool. heh
we were suppose to reach KAP in the morning but they intended to study there, and we didn't really believe them, so we rather stayed at home to continue of game. it was like until 12pm or later before we decided to get out of the house. but before we could go to amiel's, i had to go home to bathe and change to a new set of clothes, as well as getting my stuff for book in later on in the night.
after all that rushing, we got off our bus and took a cab because we didn't really know how to get there apart from knowing the name of his street and condo. who would have expected that both of us will be the first to get there. not much things to do there, played cards again and ya, now u know y i'm like sick of cards. its always the same thing and after awhile, it puts me off, completely.
too many people, not much things to do and you'll get bored people. fortunately, i didn't fall into that category. was engaged in conversations with several people. it was quite a fun time running around doing stupid stuff.
later on in the day, we went to the clubhouse to slack cuz amiel's mum invited her friends to watch national day parade together. the clubhouse was pretty small but it was all well and good. due to extreme boredom, amiel dragged us to play this king came and that whoever who becomes the king, has the privilege to order people around. there is only one dumb thing, and that the king must speak with a cool accent. due to some complications, bryan got sabo-ed to be the first guy to be king and after like 5 minutes, there was the impeachment. bleah. this game actually promotes violence. burger king should come up with something that is more mild. buahaha.
when the crowd went off, it was just me bry pong james and amiel. we went to the rooftop and chill. amiel insisted that we should take photos but no one bothered to get it so i suppose we will be going there soon just to get some retarded shots there.
basically, we did alot of crappy stuff which is quite disturbing to most people so ya, i shan't disclose anything here. overall, it was a day well spent. muack!

yeah, God is good. not because of what HE di, but because of who He is. recently i confessed that i've been feeling a little dry spiritually but all is good and well now. thanks for your message today tim..
i suppose if we were to be serving in a ministry with our own strength, it won't last for like a month at most i think. i reckoned that i have been doing that and that sucks. oh well, its all over. i have to admit that it sucks to be corrected by God, but i am not falling for that something agression thingy. get lost satan... boo..
the past week was great, i have been travelling to and fro singapore along the expressway of singapore everyday and it rocks. managed to just talk to the CSOs and got some stuff from them. extracting information is kinda fun..
btw, i've been thinking about some stuff that i left behind me for a long time.
1) failed to catch up with my bud before he goes overseas
2) what its like to have somebody to love
3) chase after someone that i like
4) getting chased by someone
as u can see, 3/4 of the things i forgot is about girls. and yes, i admit that i am losing it. how i wished that i can go uni like tomorrow. students from NTU just started school if i have not mistaken and i can't help but feel a little jealous. army life is not that bad but i am feeling kinda deprived right now. boo hoo hoo.
btw, i hope i dun sound as tho uni is all about dating. actually i shouldn't be saying this kinda thing in my blog. just take it as same random ranting just because i feel like it. this desperate feeling usually subside in like a week so its not that bad, is it??
and finally, i found this cool song while listening to the radio one of the afternoon on my vehicle.
whats that climbing over the hill, is that a monstar, is that a monstar?? it rocks. lol
