osta osta!! this is like some cheering term in jap i think. i have been watching alot of drama series for the past week. one of which was GTO, stands for great teacher oni-something. since i wanted to be a teacher, i thought that show was kind of aspiring. as in i think developing close bonds with students can be kind of cool. imagine this, teacher will go out with students almost everyday and be a good influence in their lives. i think my army friends are quite irritated because i keep on doing that gto pose and gave them that cheeky smile, accompanied by a loud GRREEEAATTTO. japanese can't speak english with adding an O behind. think they are used to ending a word with a vowel. for example, arigato, komaenasai, sodeska, fugitsu, namae etc. don't u think i am quite good already. heh

yesterday went for this stupid shooting range as a safety specialist. my job there is to ensure safety, duh!! there were 2 shifts there but i got the worse of the 2, had to do 75% of the overall duty. its a good thing i did it with pg and jz. we did alot of crappy stuff together, not in the day time tho. at night the range got abit draggy. there was alot of waiting time and since we cannot stay at one place for too long due to the heavy infestation of the mozzies, we had this jedi knight fight. each one of us hold a blue light stick and we exchanged blows. was hoping that our pc will join us but he too shy. anyway, he stood there amuse at what we were doing. by the time we finished fighting, i wasn't surprised to realise that we attracted alot of attention from people who sat quite far away from us, at the training shed. thankfully all they could see was sevaral light sticks swinging back and forth, up and down. then finally, i did a victory dance with pg, dancing in circles. it was pretty retarded but the fun factor was there, or was it because i was too sleepy?

when the shoot was going to be over, i saw rsm at my lane so guess what, i approached him regarding my off that he promised to give me after i got 2nd for the route relay competition, representing 3 signals a few months back. the reply he gave me was that everytime he sees me, he will remember that he forgot to do something. and i have to assure him that he did forgot to give me 2 days off. it was quite a blatant reply but at that moment of time, we both laughed. of course, i was laughing at the fact that i got my point across so easily, while as for him, i think he was laughing because he dunno what to say. then we went on to talk about him wanting to further his studies. at first he told me that he wanted to go nus to study a special course but dunno whether is it available, it turned out to be INTERCOURSe. as expected from a dirty old chap such as himself. at least he bothered to further on state that it was meant to be a joke if not i would have totally ignored him unless its regarding my off. heh

so eh. im too lazy to update already. i hope i can go for church camp soon. GTK, out!!

heh recently i've been staying over at qingnan's house quite often, like maybe once every 2-3 weeks. my mum is quite worried that he's gay but i assure u, he's not. last sunday, i finally met up with ivan. we were supposed to meet up on sat but last min he had to meet somebody else so ya, i guess i'm not that important (:P)

just came back from outfield last thursday. i had guard duty on monday and after which, i needed to go out to join the rest of my friends in the forest after my guard rest. my staff sgt waited for me to fix up the camou net eventhough he could have do it up himself together with my pc and cso. i was rather pissed when i found out about it cuz i seriously think that they got no compassion. 2 hrs of guard rest is not even enough. obviously i wasn't stupid enough to complain, afterall my off is controlled by them. anyway, it didn't take very long to do the camou net so i got plenty of time to rest after that. i brought a fan outfield but it turned out to be spoilt. i sort of tested it back in camp and it was working fine but don't know why when i use the generator to power it up, it overheat after 10 mins. ahh

i spent the next few days playing poker with my fellow csos and sometimes with my pc. apart from my usual job as a noc specialist, i attempted to do some pushups as well as sun tanning since the weather was so hot. anyway, it was silly of me to sun tan in the middle of nowhere. if only i was more tactical when doing crappy stuff such as those mentioned, i could have acquired a better tan.

so that was what happened from tuesday all the way to thursday when the exercise finally cut. we went back to camp at around 9pm. pei ghim made a bet with his cso and since he lost, he treated all of us macs. i was quite tempted to order zi cha since jq wanted to go out and da bao. its a good thing i didn't cuz the food came around 12am when i was already about to sleep.

on friday, i had my first lesson at ntu. the lecture only had 4 guys including me. i was quite disappointed cuz i was hoping to have like some female classmates but heck, i should have known since this refresher course is designed for returning ns man. i found out about one cool thing regarding my classmate. he happens to be my brother's jc friend. and.. the best thing about him is that stays in kovan and he drives!!

after the lesson, i went for wow worship at tiong bahru industrial park area. the place was incredibly difficult to find. its a good thing that i went with my friends if not i would not have guessed that it was held in some kinda factory place. i saw brendon there. was quite surprised but i reckoned that the playing style for the worship team suits him. it was too loud for me though. so eh.. time to book in!!
