kind of forgot that i got a blog after not blogging for so long but u might ask y the sudden urge to blog again? well, the reason's simple. i feel like it.. duh!!
been feeling kinda crappy after sat night. it's been awhile since i last fell sick but it seems like my body needs the rest. exams like in 3 weeks now and i haven't been like a good student so there's really alot of work to catch up on. this easter was quite uneasterish, perhaps cuz i haven't been like doing what i'm suppose to. studies been taking up alot of my time and somehow God has been trying to get me back on track. on a few occasions he spoke to me about why i'm studying so hard for. if i were to say that it is to study for his glory, why then did i neglect spending time with him. alot of times when we say we want to do our best for God and kept on mugging on and on, chances are that we miss the point. God desires us more than what we can do for me. if u are in love with somebody, will u spend alot of time with her or do u spend most of ur time in your room writing love letters to her. which one do u think matters to her the most.
so, mugging is important but the key principle here is your priorities. seek ye first the kingdom of God. recently i managed to get hold of resources from MIT online lectures to aid in my studies. my initial thought was to keep it to myself. but y? if this resources were to leak out to the scholars in my class, they will be able to get more things out of it than i do and most probably i will do even worse after the magic touch of the bell curve. however, if i harbor such thoughts, then i miss the point again. doing my best for God is what pleases him, not my results. i struggle alot on being wise and being nice. i like to share good stuffs with people but at the same time i expect something from them. i'm not expecting them to share what they have with me, but more towards their appreciation and their friendship.
sometimes i feel really dumb to always spare a thought for others before myself. of course christians are expected to do that but i am also human. occasionally when i think back, i know i would regret but i wonder y i still did it.
anyway, this few days i feel really sick and i kind of miss home and miss my friends. weekends are always so short and i can hardly get to enjoy. 5 more weeks till deliverance. oh btw, in case u all din catch ivan's new msn nick, he's BACK!!
