we had our pageant photoshoot on wed afternoon, immediately after my QET. that day i decided to went to school earlier cuz i didn't want to be late again. so, i woke up at 6.30am, by 7am, i was all set to move off. it took me one and a half hours to travel and find my way to the S4 building. i wrote down the address on my diary but i read it as blk 54, QET exam at 8.30am. so, as u have realised, i made two major mistake. no one could direct me to blk 54 and that when i reached the exam hall, i was one hour early! thankfully, there was this guy who came as early as i was, so i decided to follow him for breakfast.
his name is malcolm, same age as me, already has a business and earning more than 5k every month from his investments. he felt that there wasn't a need to study since he has already achieved what an average 40 yr old man in singapore will attain after climbing the coperate ladder for 10 years. the thing was that his parents didn't listen to him and advised him not to be so complacent. anyway, he felt that it was good to take a break too, and took this opportunity to know more girls and hopefully find someone that he can live with for the next 2/3 of his life or more.
from school, i had to make my way to forum (town) within 1hr. i was the latest since no one had to take the exam except for me. took a train to redhill and decided to take a cab from there since i don't like others to wait for me for too long. when i got there, they put foundation on my face as well as mascara (thats's what raisa told me). then, the make up artist used the eye lash curl on my eyes which felt like i had eye shit cuz its sticky. lastly, she put a layer of lipstick of skin color. after all that make up, i felt as though i just woke up and had to go out without washing my face and couldn't eat breakfast cuz of the swollen lips. argh!!
the photoshoot lasted for like 1 hr i think. the girls went zi high and took alot of photos among themselves. they found a nice car and decided to take with it but didn't dare to get too close to cuz because it might offend the owner who wasn't around but was a moment ago.
we finally had our lunch at 3pm, wisma atria foodcourt. its a good thing that we didn't encounter any queues so we got to satisfy our hunger like pretty fast. our manager treated us drinks which i felt was very nice of him to do so. so after lunch, all the seniors went back, leaving the 7 of us, plus one senior left who was waiting for her bf to pick her up. we went cineleisure to shop and ended up at the neo print shop. took alot of nice photos there but only managed to select 2 because we were too slow and all the instructions were in jap. the machine could actually send the photos via infra red to our phones but we couldn't open up the file after it was sent. since that couldn'twork, we took photos of the neo print directly from the screen.
after neo print, i had to rush down to clarke quay with raisa for the S group dinner. the food there was expensive but it didn't really affected me since i had a late lunch. shared a pizza with bryan and spent only like ten dollars. while slacking at that place, suddenly the music changed and there was this slideshow with photographs of this couple and focusing mainly on the girl. there's words like every morning when i wake up, i want to tell ... love you etc. then, this guy holding a big bouquet of flowers spoke into the mike and told everyone that the reason why he did this is to declare his love to the world of his love for his girlfriend. so his girlfriend obviously agreed to marry him and then S group gave the couple our infamous 3 cheers. then, all the aunties and uncles came out from nowhere and occupied the seat behind us. when they left, we were still there so u can imagine how long we stayed there. so, it was a good time of like seeing everyone coming together again and talk cock. hopefully by the next outing, more freshies will be able to turn up and xiaoyuan can make a special appearance. i heard she got quite freaked out after the clubbing so ya.
i stayed in hall last night and spent one whole day trying to get the matriculation done. had to go to the admin block to reset my password and then went to the library to get the matriculation done. it was simply logging in to view the time table and that's that. it was forecasted that every wed i have no school and friday i only have one lesson from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. hopefully i can place my elective on that morning to fill up the gap.
went to eliel's house for dinner. aunty sharon cooked beef with black pepper sauce with garlic. we had potatoes and some exotic veggies with vinegar and olive oil. it tasted abit acidic but the after taste was fantastic. uncle richard then took out alot of fruits and placed it on the table. he was super excited about the champagne grapes and the cherries he bought from carrefour i think. anyway, had a great dinner there and by the time i finished my dinner, it was 9.30pm already. talked to them for awhile and left at 10.30pm. travelling back sucks cuz there's only 179 from their place. shutter bus no longer there i had to walk from nanyang drive back to hall 15. saw alot of seniors tekaning the freshies staying in hall while walking back to my hall. it was fun and i almost wanted to do something spastic as well but yea, i was tired and it wouldn't be right so ya.
i woke up too early this morning and thus i decided to blog. going for the orientation talk now and after that having training for pageant from 1030 to 1630. ahh.. please support me on the 18th aug. muacks!!
