i had off this week from tuesday to thursday. monday i had an appointment at alexandra hospital for physiotheraphy and thus i only went back at 1.30pm. i saw all of them falling in for mud day parade so i decided to do some flanking and ended up in my bunk without anyone knowing except for my man, meng hau in which i dunno y he wasn't looking in front during the parade.
from 2-4, basically i took a nap cuz i thought it was important if i wanted to play after i booked out. once i woke up, i heard that we got 6 days off more so i had to look for my boss to arrange for the dates for me to clear. right now, i officially ORD on the 6th august but because of the off and leave i have, i don't have to report back to camp from 17th july onwards. which means that i have 6 more days left in camp.
after settling all the off issues, i went to change and prepare to book out. just when i was about to leave the camp, QN told me to wait for him to go back together so ya, i waited and since i am not going back early, i asked my boss for a ride home. my boss dropped us at bugis cuz he's meeting his wife there and ya, both QN and me decided to shop awhile to get some stuff for his friend who was leaving for australia already. the friend who was leaving happened to be my primary school mate, neighbour's childhood friend. anyway, QN couldn't find anything there so he asked if i could go town with him and thus, my reply was that my bag is dang heavy so ya, he carried my back for me and said that im a wuss.
when we reached town, he was like complaining to me that the bag is very heavy so i shot back and said that there's nothing much i could do cuz im just a wuss and then he was like "eh.. im a wuss too" so after that, we took turns to carry my bag. we ended up at taka and immediately he knew where to get his stuff and we left the place after getting some inspiration from kino for the design of the dish that QN intended to cook for that friend from some expensive cook books.
left town and went to bishan to meet my parents for supper at haagen daz. there were alot of couples who took up the 4 men seat and one couple took up a six men seat, drinking ice water and simply sat there and pda. there were seats outside but is non air conditioned thus we just squeezed at a 2 men seat and shared our ice cream, while staring at that obnoxious teenage couple in their own dimension enjoying their free drink.
i was supposed to meet ivan on tuesday around 12plus 1 to go bry's house awhile but he only woke up at 2 plus! anyway, that turned out to be a good thing because we wanted to go ecp earlier to blade so can catch a movie after that but ocean's 13 was over already and i had no idea. we bladed past bedok jetty, sat there awhile to enjoy the wind while pondering y people enjoy fishing ikan bilis so much. after like 20 mins of resting, we set off to find bedok jetty (i thought it was right at the end but actually we were there already). anyway, to cut the long story short, we bladed to the sailing center and when we asked a stranger where was bedok jetty, he told us that its qutie far back. that's when i realised that we were there just awhile ago.
went for dinner at the hawker center, i had a craving for apollo's fried kway teow but it was closed so i ate fish soup which costs 4 dollars, rather ex for a hawker center don't u think? bought a drink at cold storage and went back to ivan's house. as always, i tripped on the second floor, the same place that i tripped the last time i came. while ivan was setting up lan to play dota, i watched the 9 o clock show starring jeanette aw and fann wong. ivan was quite disgusted because jeanette aw was complimenting herself when fann wong (supposingly the ugly duckling) switched body with her.
played lan till about 1am before we headed back to the room to talk till like 3 plus 4am. we woke up late too to compensate the loss of sleep. i woke up early cuz of my stupid body clock and since i had nothing to do and ivan refused to wake up, i smsed bry and amiel. amiel was in school so he invited us down to his school for lunch. we agreed so ya, iv drove us down before going to bry's house to swim. we basically slacked the whole day there and eventually stayed over.
thursday morning, we woke up early to go for breakfast but we dragged till it was lunch and then we went for a swim till 3 plus. i had to go home after that to meet my mum to shop and for dinner. we went paradiz area for chicken rice and headed home. by then, it was almost ten.
friday i had another appointment cuz i didn't want to book in on thursday night. went to see a doc just to get an excuse letter for the saf to certify that i got injured during service so even when i ORD, im supposed to get free treatment too. it ended at 12 plus so i read the book which avelyn lent me for half an hour before meeting PG for lunch. we wasn't that hungry so we ended up at the arcade playing a game of ghost squad. by then, it was time for shaun kuah to pick us up at jp to go safti mi for dental ffi, a requirement to fulfil before u can ord. once again, it ended early, around 2pm and we didn't want to go back so ya, we only smsed our boss at 4pm to inform him so we need not go back. for me, it was not so much of an issue cuz i got an mc from the doc in the morning. he happened to be from my unit as well so he asked whether i needed a time chit or an mc to certify that i was there. then i was like "i would prefer an mc" so then, he gave me one day for fun. lol
we went to novena square for lunch at ajisen ramen, walked one around the arcade before proceeding to ttsh to visit jensen's gf who was involved in an accident the night before. her shin was badly injured, 20cm by 8cm. they had to cut off a portion of her skin from the butt and put it on her shin. anyway, we were joking that jensen might change gf soon cuz her butt gonna have a scar.
after the visit to the hospital, i started sneezing and ya, it got worse when i got home. by the end of tf, i needed to go home to rest. so ya, here i am online after sleeping for 14 hrs straight. haha
