this week was quite exciting. i had a medical appointment on monday so i was allowed to book in by monday afternoon. i was quite disappointed when the doc decided that i no longer needed to dress my wound (missing nail) but since the doc from ttsh suggested that i should see the doc every alternate days to change dressing and monitor the status of my wound, she gave me one last appointment on wed. thus, on tuesday night, i booked out again.
if i remembered correctly, it was on edwin's birthday, just so happened that i called chrystal and aveline to watch movie so ya, got to know of this surprise birthday party at olivia's place. so obviously both of them weren't free, so then i decided to watch movie with james, my poly friend. i finally watched fantastic 4 and ya, it wasn't that nice. those people who told me that silver surfer is dang powerful, u are right!! the only thing he did was the power shot in which the power came from his silver board and then the other was the final blow, it looked as though he had suicidal thoughts. all in all, his fighting scene lasted for like less than 5 mins. for somebody so powerful, before u realise it, the enemy is gone, disappeared, vanished. (oh ya, the rest of the scenes of him inside, he was powerless to do anything.. bleah)
after the movie, we went to eat rochor's tao hui, the you tiao weren't as nice as my previous trip there. saw stephanie (my sec sch friend) with one guy, dunno whether is it her bf. hah
wed afternoon, i requested to do an x ray on my back since my toe is somewhat done already. to my astonishment, based on the review by my doc, she mentioned that there's a probability that i might get slip disk if i were to continue playing sports. i was like kena stunned for a few seconds before i could react. anyway, she referred me to a bone specialist at jurong medical center, boonlay on thursday.
thursday morning, i booked out AGAIN at 8.30am, saw the doc, the doc said that at first glance, it looked normal, except for a small section of the spine in which the gap between the bones are slightly smaller. then i was like "so is my back okay?" and his reply was that i will send u for physio. he examined me once more, making me lie down on the bed in some awkward position to test whether my back hurts, so i replied truthfully and after that, i decided to declare that i have knee pains as well so i was sent for another x ray.
the analysis on that x ray stated that my knees were normal, so he deduced that the tissues wore out on the kneecap. after this trip to the medical center, i earned myself one month of status. if i had known, i would have gone for this checkup a month earlier. and so, i will be going for physio for my back and knee this monday.
