everything happened so fast. last week i got confined, this week i realised that everything got lifted and that the upcoming guard duty, suppose to get one weekend duty but it got altered, so much so that i will be doing weekday guard instead. how cool is that??
if that is not enough, previously i mentioned something like my course commander started to tekan me cuz i am supposingly not up to his standard. during IPPT however, i proved myself and got not only GOLD for it but BEST PT for the platoon as well as the company. everything happened so suddenly. before IPPT, everyone knew me as a NINJA warrior. they sort of like noticed me throughout my IPPT. then, after the four stations (SBJ pull ups situps shuttlerun), i managed to get top for all the category and before i knew it, everyone knew my results. as for 2.4km, managed to get 2nd place with a timing of 9.13, not very good but hey, i'm in school of signals. lol...
missed the first place by a pathetic 1 s. its a good thing because the guy who got first was actually trying to challenge me. i think he's the 2nd fittest guy in the company, or so i heard from my friends. every single station that i did, he will be there waiting for me and asking for my result. its kinda irritating after awhile but what can i do>?
anyway, that stupid guy went to draw a picture that says kelvin leong dead, reward $20.. -_-"
how lame is that. firstly, i dun even know him that well. 2ndly, its not as if i cheated or something. if u wanna get best PT, go and train harder.. dumbass. 3rdly, u expect the whole world to cry with u just because u lost to me?? 4thly, at least u got best PT for ur platoon. be thankful okie. lastly, it might be that u were over obsessed with beating me that u actually lost ur focus. well, one good advice, mind ur own business!! so what if u get best PT? take it if u can. be a man at least. dun be a sore looooser. u are a DISGRACE to the specialists. i can't imagine a future commander leading a troop of 20-30 people going around doing this kinda childish acts. heh anyway, the picture is quite cute, if not for my name. i can't stand being hated for no reason.
let me tell u bout my few minutes of fame. everyone was like crowding around me, congratulating me and stuff. wherever i go, people will be pointing at my direction and go "neh, that's the best PT'.. it was quite a nice feeling.
okie, back to the serious part. all these achievements don't come just like that. it happened for a reason. and for me, i felt God's hand was with me. i was actually quite tired after the 4 stations but after i prayed, i knew i could carry on. with Him, he made all things possible. i did QT that afternoon.. i think God said something like.. the more i give, the more trust i have in u. since i trust u, i want u to do ur best. if u do ur best, surely blessings will follow as i give u more. if u look at it in a christian context, through this best pt title pasted on my face, everyone knows me and its easier therefore to talk to people. as in God gave me more opportunity to share the gospel with my friends now and im glad. i thank God for all of the above and seriously, i hope that time could stop so that i can be with my group of friends in camp everyday. :)
