yeah, it went on really well today. so much better than i expected. i went to bishan earlier to get present for eugene, not that i didn't buy but rather helping the cg to get something for him. suppose to meet christina at 2.30pm but she got there by 2.15pm. actually i thought she would be late. anyhow, got there at 2.30pm on the dot. i wasn't late. we walked around j8 amilessly for probably half an hour before we ended up at the christian shop selling t shirts and slippers. the price of it was just nice but the quality of it wasn't that fantastic. stayed there for 15 mins and then we decided to get the cake first. the shop that i used to frequent wasn't there anymore. it was replaced by prima deli. the shop looks more high class, so is the price of the cakes there.
after getting the cake, we were left with fifteen minutes so we had no choice but to grab the slippers, ignoring the quality of it and went up to buy the birthday card. after which, we went straight to church where all of us were suppose to meet before going to eugene's place.
on the way there, we saw ailin at one of the bustops. tried knocking on the glass panel but to no avail, we couldn't get her attention. instead, there was this nerdy guy turned and looked at us hysterically. we signalled to him to ask him to call ailin but ya, being nerdy, he gave us a blur look and turned away. in any case, i think he just missed an opportunity to get to know someone from his school. sigh!
by the time we reached church, all the cg girls were upstairs talking crap already. we took quite some time before we settled down and started studying. i didn't have, duh, so i took out the card and started scribbling b day wishes and passed it around. by the time everyone finished writing, it was time to go his place.
all of us sat near the entrance, with a small table, chairs and wooden sofa. sang song, cut cake, took photographs, eat and the ntalk crap. nich and eugene were busy playing with my phone while the rest of us just talked bout anything under the sun. it started off with fantastic four then dunno how, we drifted to church camp, chalets and CHEMISTRY. then, i turned to nicholas and told him that the koi pool outside is quite deep. he wanted to take a look so ya, the 3 of us (eugene too) went out and sat by the pool. not long after, the girls came out as well. they were quite fascinated by all those fishes and asked if they could feed them. we literally sat there and talk crap after that until its time to go back to church to study.
overall, i feel that this outing really helped eugene to get to know the cg alot better. im sure he's quite comfortable with them now and vice versa. nick and eugene started having their own conversations. actually im really glad to haf nick around. he can talk to anyone, irregardless of whether he knows that person. christina will welcome people and sarah will talk crap. gloria is very sporting. when i organise anything, she will definitely try to turn up. deb and ailin are like the quiet supporters. they encouraged people by just being there. i love my cg.
went back church to study after that. they were able to accomplish more stuff now and as i was reading through the book 'Glorious Appearing', the last book of the left behind series, i sort of like shared with them that when Jesus comes back, He will have a thousand year reign. its not exactly a metaphor. right after one thousand years, Satan will be set free and once again dwell among us. significance of that, not too sure. according to the book, it suggests that it might a test for the children of the millenia kingdom. children referring to those born during the one thousand years. this means that people can still give birth. i guess everything will be the same as on earth but just that there won't be any pain during childbirth. not evryone will be able to give birth though (its not proven, just some suggestion so dun think too much). only people who survived the 7 years of tribulation will be able to do that. as for the rest of the people, they will be something like angels. personally, i don't think it will be that way since everyone will be equal in heaven. if u can give birth, i can too. maybe its like the amoeba, can just split into 2.
we discussed bout the animals in heaven too. it is written that the lions and ox will be living together in harmony. that means carnivores no longer exists. if thats the case, all will feed on grass or perhaps flowers. trevor yaxley once said that flowers in heaven can sing song and worship God. so does that means that flowers will scream in a melodious way when the cow is trying to eat it.
