just had a nice supper, fried chicken and 7up with a lil alcohol in it. so much for trying to cut down on unhealthy food. bleah. i am still waiting for people to go jogging with me simply becuase i don't have the commitment to do that myself. that really sucks!
for the past two days, had stayover again. alden justin and tsura came over to my house at 12am. we were at toa payoh playing lan while waiting for justin who ended school at 10pm. we played DOTA and Pokemon thingy. it sounds stupid but quite entertaining. anyhow, it was on a friday night so we could afford to stay up late. we really didn't do much that day but i guess at the end of the day, we still enjoyed ourselves. while having all the fun, i forgot about my QT and felt really bad about it. u know sometimes in the midst of fun, God can be like totally out of the picture. as i was thinking through just now, it sort of reminded me that how i got to know people from church is because of my relationship with God. our main purpose of getting together should revolve around Christ as well. as a christian, we should live like one. cultivation holy habits and a holy lifestyle should be part of us. in any stayover or outing, i guess there should be a small time of devotion together if we have yet to do out QT or at least like a peayer session. being holy does not necessary means boring. although it might sound like it. the problem with Singaporeans is that we are too comfortable with our lives and that we forgot the blessings that come from God. when we don't have a thankful heart, its hard to have Jesus integrated into our lives. good things we take it for granted. when bad things start to happen, we start to God. well, the bottom line is this. whatever we do, we should always be reminded we are christians. our relationship with God is our top priority and nothing that we do should distract us from that. if that happens, we might want to consider not doing in at all.
